Privacy policy

We collect two things: what you type into the enquiry form, and — only if you agree to it — anonymous figures about which pages get visited. We don't sell anything to anyone, and there is no advertising tracking on this site.

TO COMPLETE: registered company name and number, registered address, and ICO registration number if you are registered

Your name, your email address, optionally your business name and who your customers are, and whatever you write in the “what you're trying to fix” box. We use it for one purpose: to reply to you and to build the preview you asked for.

The form is delivered by FormSubmit, a third-party service that passes the message to our inbox. Your details pass through their systems in transit. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not pass your details to anyone else.

The lawful basis is legitimate interest — you contacted us about work, so we reply about that work.

TO COMPLETE: how long enquiry emails are kept before deletion

This site sets no cookies until you agree to them. If you accept the banner, Google Analytics records anonymised, aggregate figures — which pages are visited and roughly where visitors come from. IP addresses are anonymised. Advertising storage is switched off permanently, not just by default.

Decline and nothing is recorded. Two small items are stored in your browser either way and never leave your device: your light or dark theme preference, and your answer to the cookie banner so we stop asking. You can clear both by clearing this site's data in your browser.

Under UK GDPR you can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, or object to us holding it. Email us and we'll action it — there is no form to fill in.

If you think we've handled your data badly and we haven't put it right, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
